Geography Department

The Department of Geography is one of the active department of education faculty, which was established in 2013 in accordance with the objective and urgent needs of the community in the framework of Paktia University.

Vision
 The view of the Department of Geography is to have a standard educational system and the provision of quality academic services equivalent to the academic standards of the country and the universities of neighboring countries and to have a high and outstanding position at the national and regional level.

Mission
  The Department Geography is committed to developing and promoting knowledge and responding to the needs of the Afghan community as one of the vanguard departments of the education Faculty of Education to offer inclusive education, services at Paktia University. The mission of the Institute is to provide educational, research, advisory services to the scientific community, applicants for higher education, and sees itself as creating a competitive scientific and research landscape.

1- Presenting academic cadres and professors to the community.

2. Development of Geography Department .

3- To arrange and prepare a standard curriculum.

4. Strengthening relations and cooperation with the scientific and cultural institutions of the country.
5. Promoting and expanding Islamic and national values.

9. Create more advanced training programs and opportunities.

10. Training of scientific and professional cadres.

11. Having good relations, at the faculty, university and national and international scientific institutions, based on good faith and cooperation.
