Assistant Professor Abdullah Naseri was born in 1989 in Qarghai district, Laghman Province. He joined Saqafat Islamic School at Jalozo Kamp, Pakistan. He completed his secondary and high school at Qarghai high school in Laghman Afghanistan. Mr. Naseri participated in the entrance exam (Kankor National Exam) in 2008, and passed to the Agricultural faculty of Nangarhar University, in Afghanistan. He obtained his first B.Sc. degree with higher marks from Plant Protection Department in 2012. Soon after his graduation from the Nangarhar University, he got a job as a teaching Assistant at the Plant Protection Department, Faculty of Agriculture, Paktia University in Afganistan. After five years in 2017, he pursued his education in Iran and joined Ferdowsi University of Mashhad where he began his master's degree in the Plant Protection department. After successfully completed of his master's degree in 2020 he rejoined as the head and lecturer of the Plant Protection Department in Paktia University. It is also worth mentioning that he will publish much research and review articles/papers in national and international journals.

Introduction
The Plant Protection Department was established in 2012 but has officially begun its work in 2013. The main mission of the Department of Plant Protection is the preparation and training of talented personnel in the field of plant protection for the benefit of society. The main goals of this department are training cadres and talented specialists, accurately identifying plant pests and pathogens and suggesting comprehensive ways to prevent them, conservation of plant resources and the environment, achieving higher yields per unit of land, implementing modern technologies for protection and improvement of agricultural crops, increase food quality and quantity and raise the value of agricultural commodities in the economic growth of the country

Goals
