The appointment and academic promotion meeting of Paktia University was held under the chairmanship of the academic vice chancellor of the university, Prof. Saif-ur-Rehman Rohi.
The meeting began with a few verses from the Holy Quran, after which a number of teachers on the shortlists of candidates for admission were evaluated according to the agenda.
This is despite the fact that shortlists of candidates for vacant posts in Khost, Paktia, Logar and Paktika Universities and Institutions will be announced soon and candidates will be called for examination.
