• The Department of Computer Science is determined to integrate Computer Science in the Faculty (to become a department of Computer Science Faculty) in the future.

 

• The Department has plan to provide professional trainings at regional level and build research center in the field of computer science so that its graduates can play an effective role in solving social problems and economic growth.

 

• The department will be at the forefront of the country in teaching, research and providing professional services.

• The Department of Computer Science should be a high-quality department to responsive Afghanistan's new technological development and needs.

• Computer science is attempting to transform the old administrative system into a modern system by implementing the standard curriculum and inventing research facilities, and also train professional teachers.

The objectives of the Department of Computer Science are as follows:

1. Initiating educational programs prepared with efficient and high-quality modern technology to reflect local, national and international issues, and also to be able to cooperate with us at the country level.

2. Training of academic and professional staff for schools, secondary education and higher education institutions.

3. Presenting the best quality programs in the field of computer science both in theory and practical and using them to solve daily problems.

4. Providing computer training for all students of Paktia University.

5. Preparing an educational environment in which positive criticism, reasonable questions and debates are initiating opened and friendly.

6.Providing students with the best teaching and skills equipped with a new modern system that is responsive to local and national needs.

7.Focusing on research that is effective and efficient for the national economic and social system of the country.
