Introduction to the Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics was established in the year 1392 with the Department of Administration and Entrepreneurship within the framework of Paktia University, and in the beginning of the year 1393, it attracted students who passed the entrance exam for the first time. In the year 1394, the department of finance and banking was also invented in the said faculty.

In the Faculty of Economics, on an average, about 500 students are taught and trained at the undergraduate level by ten academic staffs in two departments. Also, a new teacher has been appointed for the year 1402, whose appointment is still ongoing. In addition to the formation of academic staff, the faculty of economics, teaching general management, executive management and service workers and night watchmen are also in their formation.

The Faculty of Economics has signed cooperation agreements with five government and private institutions such as Mustofit, Customs, Afghan National Bank, Jahan Institute of Higher Education, Department of Economics and Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the purpose of conducting practical training for students. .

For the better development of affairs, the Faculty of Economics currently has (9) nine active committees.

So far, the Faculty of Economics has graduated 1008 students in the last eight graduation cycles to serve the society.
